Granite is a coarse-grained igneous rock formed from magma (a mixture of molten or semi-molten rock, volatiles and solids) and quarried within the earth. It is a natural surface comprising quartz, potassium and sodium feldspar, micas and other minerals.

CANDEO's Marble collection is popular for flooring and feature walls due to its classic and elegant look. Most value its aesthetic, strength and resistance to heat (cooling surface material). Compared with Granite and Quartz, Marble is slightly more delicate.

Marble is a metamorphic rock consisting primarily of carbonates like calcite or dolomite. Although it is usually white, beige or grey, it often has irregularly coloured marks due to impurities such as silica and clay. These marks give each slab of Marble character and uniqueness.
